These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our Website and the barbering services ("Services") provided at our physical store locations across Queensland, Australia. By accessing or using our Website, or by visiting any of our stores, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Website or Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Customer", "you", "your") and HMB Barbers ("we", "our", "us"). We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on this page. Your continued use of the Website or Services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
2. Our Services
HMB Barbers provides professional barbering services, including but not limited to precision haircuts, beard sculpting, beard trims, skin fades, clipper cuts and related grooming services. Our services are provided in-person at our physical store locations throughout Queensland. We currently operate 18 stores across the state, and the availability of specific services may vary by location.
All services are performed by trained barbers in accordance with industry standards and relevant health and safety regulations. We strive to deliver a high standard of service at every visit; however, the outcome of any barbering service is inherently subjective and may be influenced by factors such as hair type, texture, length and condition. We do not guarantee that the final result will match any reference image or description provided, though our barbers will make every reasonable effort to meet your expectations.
3. Walk-In Policy
All HMB Barbers stores operate on a walk-in basis only. We do not accept appointments, bookings or reservations of any kind. Customers are served on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait times may vary depending on the number of customers, the complexity of the services being performed and staffing levels at any given time.
We make no guarantee as to wait times and accept no liability for any inconvenience caused by extended waiting periods. We reserve the right to stop accepting new walk-in customers before our posted closing time if necessary to serve all customers already waiting. We encourage you to visit during off-peak hours if you wish to minimise your wait.
4. Cashless Payments
All HMB Barbers stores are entirely cashless. We accept debit cards, credit cards and contactless (tap) payments, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and other digital wallet services supported by our payment terminals. We do not accept cash, cheques or any other form of non-electronic payment under any circumstances.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid electronic payment method before receiving any services. All prices displayed in-store and on our Website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment is due in full at the completion of your service, before leaving the store. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer who is unable or unwilling to pay by an accepted electronic method.
5. Customer Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for all customers and staff. By visiting our stores, you agree to:
- Treat all staff and other customers with courtesy and respect.
- Follow any reasonable instructions or directions given by our staff, including those relating to health, safety and hygiene.
- Not engage in any behaviour that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, disruptive or otherwise inappropriate.
- Not attend a store if you are affected by alcohol or drugs to the extent that it may impair your behaviour or pose a risk to the safety of yourself, other customers or our staff.
- Not bring any dangerous, illegal or prohibited items into our stores.
We reserve the right to refuse service to, or ask to leave, any customer whose conduct we deem to be unacceptable, dangerous or in breach of these Terms. Such decisions are made at the sole discretion of our staff and management, and no refund or compensation will be provided in such circumstances.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, icons, audio clips, video clips, data compilations and software, is the property of HMB Barbers or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws. The HMB Barbers name, logo and all related branding are trademarks of HMB Barbers and may not be used, reproduced or displayed without our prior written consent.
You may view, download and print content from this Website for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you do not modify the content and that you retain all copyright and proprietary notices.
