Getting a haircut can be a big deal when you're little. That's why our barbers take a patient, easy-going approach with every junior client who sits in the chair. At HMB Barbers, we've cut thousands of kids' hair across our Queensland locations and we know how to keep things relaxed, fun and moving at the right pace. Whether it's their very first trim or they're a regular who knows exactly what they want, we make it a good experience.

Our barbers are comfortable working with children of all ages, from toddlers through to teenagers. For the younger ones, we keep things calm and distraction-friendly — parents are welcome to stay close, and we work with the child's comfort level rather than against it. For the older kids and teens, we offer the same range of styles as our adult cuts, from fades and tapers to textured crops and longer styled looks.

Every junior cut gets the same attention to detail as an adult service. We don't cut corners because the client is shorter. Lines are cleaned up, blending is done properly, and we finish with the same detailing around the ears and neckline. The goal is a cut that looks great on day one and still holds its shape as it grows out.
